FantasyTrade IQ
Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 19, 2026
Overview
FantasyTrade IQ helps fantasy baseball users review players, rankings, roster needs, league settings, and trade ideas. The app uses a backend-generated MLB, AAA, and AA player catalog. Users do not upload workbooks or Excel files in the app.
Information The App Uses
FantasyTrade IQ uses public baseball player data, fantasy value fields, projections, and rankings from the app backend. This player catalog is refreshed by the backend and downloaded by the app.
When you analyze a trade, the app may send selected player IDs, scoring mode, league settings, roster settings, and scoring categories to the backend so the backend can calculate the trade result.
When you choose Yahoo league sync, the app uses Yahoo OAuth. Yahoo access and refresh tokens are stored on your device with secure storage and sent to the backend when needed to sync your Yahoo league settings, teams, rosters, and scoring format.
When you choose ESPN sync, the app may send your ESPN league ID and private-league credentials if you enter them for sync.
The app stores local settings, cached player data, synced league snapshots, and theme preferences on your device for faster startup and offline read.
How Information Is Used
- Load current fantasy baseball data.
- Customize rankings for your league settings.
- Evaluate trades.
- Analyze roster needs.
- Find possible trade partners.
- Sync fantasy league settings and rosters when you choose league sync.
- Keep the app reliable and diagnose service problems.
What The App Does Not Request
The Android release does not request contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, SMS, phone logs, shared media storage, or notification permissions. The app may include biometric or fingerprint permissions through secure storage so provider tokens can be kept in protected local storage.
The app does not include ads, ad network SDKs, rewarded ads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, affiliate links, or external payment links in this release.
Sharing
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
When you choose league sync, Yahoo or ESPN receives authenticated requests needed to provide your league data. Backend and hosting providers process app traffic to provide the service.
Security
The production Android app uses HTTPS for backend requests. Debug builds may use local development endpoints, but release builds are configured to use the production API.
Yahoo tokens are stored on-device using secure storage. Non-sensitive league metadata is stored in local app storage.
Your Controls
In Settings, you can:
- disconnect Yahoo, which removes local Yahoo tokens and synced league data from this device;
- delete local app data, which clears local settings, cached player data, synced rosters, provider tokens, and local preferences from this device.
Children's Privacy
FantasyTrade IQ is intended for fantasy baseball team-management use. The app is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when app features, data practices, hosting providers, analytics, ads, payments, or league-sync providers change.
